International Artist Chris Dyer Shares his Art Workshops with you !

About the teacher- Chris Dyer is a Peruvian-Canadian artist based in Montreal, Quebec,

who exhibits and performs his art worldwide. Mixing many styles and mediums of the visionary art, street art and skateboard art movements, the main theme seen through his artwork is cultural and spiritual oneness of humanity and beyond.

Chris first got known for painting colorful detailed spiritual expressions on recycled skateboards. For the last decade he has been very active in spray-painting murals worldwide. His canvas paintings are also soulful expressions that have been exhibited in solo and group shows in several galleries around the world including San Francisco, New York, Mexico, Peru, Belgium, Paris, and all over Canada and the United States. These days he also travels the world sharing his art workshops.

He attended Heritage College and University of Ottawa and then Dawson college in Montreal, being trained in Fine Arts and Illustration. Later in life Chris studied under the masters of the movements he was part of. Chris as also served as art director for California’s Creation Skateboards, doing graphics for them and many other skateboard companies, along other commercial work like cd covers, t-shirts designs, magazine illustrations and advertisements, etc.

Chris’ Positive Creations have been featured in several magazines all over the world, as well as a few books. A full feature movie of his life and art was also released, along a coffee table book by Schiffer publishing and a coloring book by Last Gasp Publications.


Workshops fiilmed at Alex & Allyson Grey's Chapel Of Sacred Mirrors (COSM) and the Vienna Academy of Visionary Art

Every spring Chris teaches a four day workshop at COSM. This workshop includes the entire workshop he teaches there. Then there are also a couple of speeches from the prestigious Vienna Academy of Visionary Art. And then also there are an assortment of tutorials he's added to give you all the information possible!!

The workshop covers a range of topics such as:

- Intro to Positive Creations

Chris will go over this history as an artist since he was a child in Peru and go over all the different things he does in his diverse art career. Prepare to be inspired!!

- Skateboard Graphics

Chris will go over the short history of skateboard art and skateboard graphics, shoe the different trends and movements throughout the decades. He will talk about the main artists behind the skateboard movement and His journey in the skateboard industry. He finishes by teaches you how you can make your own skateboard graphics and paintings.

- How To Become A Better Artist

Chris goes over all the things he learnt in his life as an artist. From lifestyle to a equipment to simply being disciplined in your work. He ends the speech with an overview of mediums and technical tips and tricks.

- Business Of Art

Learning how to make money and a business off your souls expression is something that takes decades. Chris will save you the time by giving you as many tips as possible on how to manifest this. There are many ways to make money off your art, but that is an art in itself.

- Street art & Graffiti

Chris has been involved in street art in one way or another since the mid 90's. In this chapter he will teach you the short, yet interesting, history of this very popular art movement. He will go over the main styles and artists behind this underground phenomenon. He will finish off with a demonstration, as he spray paints a mural for his students.

- T-shirt Art Workshop

This was a 2 day workshop in Vienna, where Chris did a speech specifying on drawings, to then be done on silkscreen prints. So on the 2nd day the students go to a small screen print shop to see how that process is done.

- Short Tutorials from the Studio

This section is rich with short videos that go into detail different aspects of technique and other art subject matter. All filmed from Chris' Montreal and Peru studios.
